As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the daily operations of our Taylor Chip Cookie Bakery and Retail locations. This includes production, preparation, customer relations, bakery maintenance & repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting, financial accountability, and ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to our customers.
Position Type: Retail Manager – Full Time.
Monday – Friday. Weekends as needed.
Responsibilities may include: -Overseeing and directing the daily operations of our bakery and retail locations.
-Managing shift leads and team members, including scheduling, training, recruitment, discipline, and performance management.
-Lead for baking tasks and maintaining cookie boards.
-Train new team members and set the pace and tone of the store.
-Pan, bake and decorate cookies.
-Maintain and repair equipment if able and/or refer to appropriate repair service.
-Work directly with the owners in executing business needs and ideas.
-Cultivate a positive work environment that emphasizes gratitude and collaboration.
-Ensure compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, such as production, preparation, and customer relations.
-Inventory management, including placing orders, organizing deliveries, and working closely with the Intercourse branch in order to maintain proper inventory and be informed of any inventory issues.
-Primary person in the completion of all bulk orders.
-Financial reporting.
-Opening and closing the store.
-Serving and connecting with guests with a smile, eye contact, and enthusiasm.
-Lead team to achieve human resource objectives and organizational goals.
